Ten volunteer security staff at First Baptist Church in New Philly, OH received some awesome personal protection training several weeks ago.
Mike Warner - the leader of the team - wanted his staff to acquire some fundamental knowledge of weapons and how to grapple and deal with a violent parishioner without having to inflict serious damage or violence. The results were nothing short of astounding.
Outside of Mike, the rest of the men had never been exposed to martial science before. They were all able to execute the tactics and applications thanks to the spartan nature and simplified warrior programming process that I am privileged to be able to instruct. Nobody struggled with performing anything and I was very proud and honored to contribute to maker their church and parishioners safer.
The church is not the first place we think about when we think of violence but it is one of the more common places that people are targeted for violence. Why? Because any place we visit consistently and frequently is a location that an enemy may use to strike at us. Stalkers can easily discover that you frequent church and can then lie in wait for you. The same applies for your work and home.
I congratulate Mike Warner for his forward & proactive thinking in bringing myself and martial science to his people. Well done Mike!
